What's even better is the flexibility in meal times – if you prefer a later breakfast, you have the freedom to do so. The housing accommodations at Cherrywood are designed with comfort in mind. Each house houses around 12 individuals and possesses cozy amenities like fireplaces, carpeting, and comfortable chairs. While the rooms themselves are essentially one large space, they offer ample room for residents to move around freely. This setup may particularly attract those who appreciate spacious living arrangements. Another noteworthy aspect is the location of Cherrywood; nestled within a friendly neighborhood, it exudes a homely vibe. One thing that truly impressed me during my exploration of Cherrywood was the evident care and attention given by the staff members. Their dedication to understanding what residents want was palpable in every conversation I had with them. In fact, one staff member shared that she had joined with the goal of introducing more social activities for the residents – a clear indication of their commitment to meeting individual needs. Apart from providing excellent care services, Cherrywood also offers various additional amenities that contribute to an enhanced quality of life for its residents. For instance, you can conveniently get your hair done on-site as hairdressers visit regularly for cuts and shaves. Additionally, there is a splendid little party room available for family gatherings or other special occasions – allowing loved ones to come together in celebration within the community itself. Moreover, Cherrywood understands the importance of relaxation and wellbeing. They provide access to a sauna whirlpool room, a popular feature among residents. This space allows individuals to unwind and rejuvenate, promoting both physical and mental wellness. While I was genuinely impressed by everything it had to offer, unfortunately, the distance proved to be a hindrance for me personally. Nonetheless, I highly recommend considering Cherrywood for those seeking a warm and supportive community for their loved ones.
